It is important to take time to degrease your leader.  Degreasing stops the line from making a wake in the water and spooking fish.  

This generous canister of leader sinkant paste is a specially prepared sinking compound for leaders, flies and line.  Rub a small amount of paste on your tippet material to remove grease, allowing your leader to quickly cut through the surface film.  Reapply every 4-5 casts.

This fly fishing sink kit is made in the UK by mixing Fullers Earth Powder, Washing-up Liquid, and a touch of Glycerine into a putty.  The Glycerine helps to prevent the sinkant from drying out.
